Hoki Fillets
This fish has a delicate, sweet flavor similar to that of haddock. The lean meat is moist and firm but flakes easily. Hoki is a cousin of cod and has moist, bright-white flesh, occasionally with pinkish tinges, that remains white when cooked.
Our Hoki fillets are deep skinned to remove the fat line, shatter packed, and frozen at sea to preserve its self life. Fat-line-out hoki makes an excellent alternative to cod, whiting, Pollock and other ground fish species. Hoki is a versatile fish that can be baked, broiled, fried, sautéed, and steamed.
